I just wanted to say, how disappointed I was when you left L&O! Serena and Jack had such a great relationship-and you realy felt that they were friends, as well as co-workers. I often felt that they were the kind who'd argue all day Friday, leave work angry, yet Sunday morning, one would call the other, wanting to know if they wanted to watch the game on tv that afternoon ("you bring the pizza, I'll get the beer"). Since then, I've seen the tape of your "parting gift" from L&O-all those b;onde wigsLOL!!!-and it appears that you and Sam got just as close as Serena and Jack.
I'm looking forward to seeing Kreutzer Sonata-I don't get IFC On demand, so will have to wait for the DVD. I've read a lot of great things about it, and you.
BTW, I met Sam Waterston after a few plays, and what a funny, intelligent-and sexy-guy he is! What a joy to work with he must be! Does he have any single brothers?
Lis,
I was just wondering if you had ever been approached to do a guest spot on Law & Order? It was set up perfectly for you when DA Branch said that your passions would do you better on the other side of the aisle. I ahve always thought that the best stories on Law & Order, in general, involved organized crime in one way or another. While I don't see Serena Southerlyn as a mob lawyer, if there was some way of getting your charactor into a plot involving the good old Massucci crime family it would be an extraordinary episode.

I think that would be great, a guest shot on L&O-or, on SVU, for that matter. Of course Serena's client MUST be innocent! LOL! But it would have been great if Serena had faced JAck in court before he became DA. After all, she knows alll his tricks, and he hers. Or, do they have some tricks up their sleeves that the other doesn't know about? It would have made an interesting episode. It would have been even better if they tried a case in Jamie Ross' courtroom.
But, now that Jack is DA...well, he could have at least had a scene with Serena, trying to get the Gay and Lesbian vote.
I always wondered about your last episode...why did Jack leave early? Did he think that he had Branch convinced not to fire Serena? Was he too chicken to hang around? If the former, is that why his relations with Branch really seemed to go downhill, because Branch went behind Jack's back to fire Serena? If its the latter, what happened between JAck and Serena? Did she storm over to his place-or their favorite bar-to ask why he hadn't given her a heads up?
I like to think that Branch fired Serena with Jack thinking he had time to talk him out of it, and maybe Jack and Serena got drunk over it...then Serena started hitting the real estate pages, looking for a new office to lease.

Lis,
I was wondering if you had ever been approached about doing Dancing With The Stars? It would be a hoot watching the show dedicated to the Law & Order actors. You could compete against the likes of Carey Lowell and Alana De La Garza as well as some of the offshoot show people like Mariska Hargitay and none other than Vincent D'Onofrio. I wonder how he's do waltzing around the dance floor?
